We are not in the business of busy.
If you have landed here, chances are something in you is looking for a breath. Not a holiday, not a detox, not a long weekend of scheduled activities dressed up as rest. Something quieter than that. Something that actually works. That is what we are trying to hold through our Wellness & Yoga Retreats a different kind of experience, one that makes space for real rest.
We started Anam Cara because we felt it too that particular tiredness that comes not from doing too little, but from doing too much of the wrong things for too long. We wanted to create something that feels genuinely restorative, human, and unhurried.
These Wellness & Yoga Retreats are not about productivity or escape. They are about presence, simplicity, and returning to yourself in a way that feels real.
What Anam Cara Means
Anam Cara is a Celtic phrase meaning soul friend.
We chose it because that is what we hope every person feels not just that they attended something beautiful, but that they were truly met and held with care.
A Different Kind of Wellness & Yoga Retreats Experience
Our Wellness & Yoga Retreats are intentionally small. Not mass tourism, but intimate spaces designed for real rest.
We travel to places that naturally quiet the mind mountains, coastlines, forests, and landscapes that gently pull you out of routine and into presence.
Each retreat we create includes:
- yoga
- breathwork
- meditation
- sound healing
- movement and music
- unhurried meals
But just as important is what we leave out no packed schedules, no pressure to perform wellness, no urgency to be anything other than yourself.
There is no expectation to arrive in any particular way. You don’t need to be “ready” in the way the world often demands. The practice is simply to arrive, and let things soften on their own timeline.
What remains is space. And space, more than anything, is what most people arrive seeking.
If you feel like exploring more, or simply have questions about what a retreat might look like for you, you can always reach out through Contact Us. We’re there to answer, without pressure or expectation.
What Changes Through Wellness & Yoga Retreats
People often arrive at our Wellness & Yoga Retreats carrying more than they realise tight shoulders, restless minds, a quiet sense of exhaustion they have learned to ignore.
By the third day, something softens.
We do not force this change. It happens because the conditions allow it slowness, care, presence, and the absence of pressure.
This is the quiet power of Wellness & Yoga Retreats done differently.
Yoga at the Heart of Wellness & Yoga Retreats
Yoga sits at the centre of everything we offer in our Wellness & Yoga Retreats.
Not yoga as performance or aesthetics, but yoga as a practice of returning to yourself.
Rooted in tradition:
- asana
- breathwork (pranayama)
- meditation
- philosophy
- chanting
Our facilitators, Natasha and Jayesh, bring depth, warmth, and lived understanding into every Wellness & Yoga Retreats experience.
It is not something you watch. It is something you feel.
What We Are Really Offering
This is not an escape from your life.
It is a return to yourself within it.
A few days of intention, beauty, stillness, and meaningful connection, designed with care. The kind of rest that does not disappear the moment you return home.
